Clinical cardiology is the backbone of Cardiac care. Our specialists are most often the first Cardiac physicians to see patients in the emergency room. They work closely with the Cardiac Surgery Service in the evaluation and management of patients.
Our Cardiac Center consultants determine and coordinate:
•Diagnostic testing;
•Cardiac sub-specialty or surgical referral when appropriate;
•Comprehensive treatment plans including medications, lifestyle changes, and interventional or surgical therapy
•Close working relationship with the patient’s referring physician.
